Discipline and Fitness to Practise Hearings Office • Website & Interactive Resources
Through our ongoing collaboration with the College of Early Childhood Educators, we created a dedicated online presence for its Discipline and Fitness to Practise Hearings Office.
In Ontario, the Committees listed below protect the public—especially the children cared for by Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs)—by ensuring professional standards are upheld.
- The Discipline Committee hears and decides cases of alleged professional misconduct.
- The Fitness to Practise Committee determines whether an RECE is incapacitated and unable to practise safely.
The Hearings Office supports both Committees in delivering processes that are fair, transparent, and accessible to all.
In support of their important work, this clean, modern, and airy design approach allows users to navigate the bilingual site with ease. Key features include an interactive glossary that simplifies legal terms and an interactive resources section.
